HSC Medical Center has a seven room emergency department that is staffed by dedicated, emergency trained physicians and nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The staff is prepared to handle emergency medical needs. All emergent as well as non-emergent cases are handled timely and efficiently. Patients arriving by ambulance have direct entry to our trauma room. In addition, all licensed staff are Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified.
