The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) takes care of patients who are in a critical condition and need intensive care. The unit contains six private rooms and four semi-private rooms. Patients on the unit are monitored around the clock via computerized monitors at the secretary/technician's desk. HSC Medical Center 's ICU has an excellent staffing ratio as well as great team spirit.
