Psych Health Services

HSC Medical Center's Psych Health offers individualized care in a warm, supportive atmosphere. Every aspect of clinical care is held to the highest standard. Psych Health will address not only your mental and emotional distress, but also any underlying physical or biochemical origins to your symptoms. The team develops a course of treatment that is specific to each patient's needs and is designed to treat adults ages 18 to 101 years of age. The clinical team consists of psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric nurses and a recreational therapist. Psych Health offers the following services:

· 24-hour behavioral monitoring and supervision

· Behavioral health diagnostic assessment and evaluation

· Medication stabilization and management

· Individual and group therapy

· Recreational therapy

· Family sessions

· Dual diagnosis programming for drug and alcohol addiction

· Patient and family education

· Discharge and aftercare planning

· Referrals are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone may make a referral.
